DAY 20!!!!!!

Woooooow!!!! I can't believe I've made it this far! Dang! Well, my Dad says that it takes 21 days for something to become a habit soooo.... I think it's working!
So today I drew Flower. This little cutie was pretty easy to draw. I decided to draw him where the audience first meets him in Bambi: A flower patch! I like drawing all the Bambi characters. They're really turning out cute! Wow....
I hope you like them so far!

Day 19

Today I drew Thumper!!! He's my fave from Bambi. I don't really remember the movie too well but I always remember Thumper's foot-pound. It always made me giggle as a little kid. I always thought he was the cutest. I mean, Bambi's adorable and all, but Thumper's much cuter (in my opinion).
He wasn't too hard to draw. The only tip I can give you about drawing him since he's pretty normal is that his head is a circle with a bean-shape to create his rounded top, but big cheeks. As I said, pretty straight forward. Good luck drawing this little guy!

Day 18

Today I moved on from Winnie-the-Pooh to another all-animal movie: Bambi.
Bambi was simple, yet difficult. He actually turned out a lot better than I thought he would. I'm not too sure bout his legs and their turn out, but it's only the front one that bothers me. The other ones turned out fine.
I hope you like him! :)

Day 17

AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH!!!! Oh. My. Goodness... Christopher Robin was soooo harrddddd.... He was worse than Owl!!!
I don't think I'm quite ready to draw people yet... At least Disney's people. Wow... I don;t even know how to describe how hard it was to draw him! GAH! It was reallllly hard!!!! I'm not sure I even like how he turned out!

Day 16

Today I drew Owl! He was the hardest Winnie-the-Pooh character thus far. I'm not sure why, but he just was.
I think it's because of the feathers. He has this weird, feathery uni-brow look going on and it was hard to draw. Other than that he wasn't too bad...

Day 15

Oooook.... Today was for Gopher. He was the one Winnie-the-Pooh character that I really liked to copy while speaking. I have no idea how to type it, but his whistle-s thing was so much fun to copy as a kid.
While drawing Gopher, his arms were the hardest things to draw for me. They go from really big to really small quickly. The hard part was to make them even and not to make them too buff or too sickly skinny.

Day 14

Today I drew Rabbit. I'm not sure if Rabbit's a boy or a girl soooo.... Rabbit is weird because of (again) its head shape. The body in itself is like a pear so it's pretty straight-forward. The nose is an absolute pain to figure out and see if it's too big, too small, not the right shape, etc...
If you attempt Rabbit, good luck!

Day 13

Oooook.... So today I drew Eeyore. I don't like drawing Eeyore. Sorry if he's your fave but he's not mine... At least drawing wise, as a character he's fine. His body/legs are the most awkward things to draw. (in my opinion. You may think differently, but hey, that's the beauty of opinion!)
I'm considering doing some in color, buuuuuttt..... I dunno.... I think it'd be better for me to start out in pencil and then move to color later.... a lot later....

Day 12

Ok. So, I drew the mother-son pair Kanga and Roo. Let me point out that no, their tails are not meant to look like a dinosaur's, but yes, mine did turn out a little.... odd.... All in all, I don't think they turned out too bad, though I'm not quite sure about them either.
Again, just a reminder, comments and suggestions are great! Shoot me a comment or something if you have any advice. It's all welcome.

Day 11

I am sooooo sorry this has taken so long to put up! I was at a church retreat and had no access to a computer... Sooooo.... This is from Saturday and I drew Tigger! Yaaaaayyyyy!!!!! He's one o' meh faves!
He wasn't too hard to draw. If I can draw him while only half awake at 7 am, I think you guys can draw him just fine! One major thing to remember about Winnie-the-Pooh characters is that they have stitch marks. They are plush toys so they're going to have marks that show their 'patch' jobs. They just don't look Winnie-the-Pooh-ish with out them!

Day 10

In honor of the opening of Tim Burton's 'Alice in Wonderland', I decided to draw Disney's Cheshire Cat. He was pretty straight-forward. The only problem I had was figuring out his face shape. It's a very awkward shape. It's almost a half watermelon + half a grapefruit. It's weird....
Also, Happy Birthday Mom! Today is my mom's birthday, and no, I'm not going to tell you how old she is. Also, I'm going to put up her picture of Mickey Mouse that she drew a few days ago.

Day 9

Today I drew Piglet!!!! I was so happy to draw him (he and Tigger are my favorites). He has a pretty basic shape. His head (no offense) is a very odd shape, but his facial features aren't too complicated.
His body is almost a vase-like shape. His limbs are incredibly easy too. All they are are ovals!!! :D Anybody can draw this little guy!

Day 8

Today was the first day of Winnie-the-Pooh. So, I started with Pooh, aka: the most logical choice. It turned out ok (to me). His head (where it comes his neck and shirt) was hard to get to fit together sooo..... if it looks a little off, I'm very sorry!
I hope you like it!!!

Day 7

Today was a fun day. I got to draw Huey, Dewey, and Lewey!
It was actually not as hard to draw them as I originally thought. I guess since I've drawn Daisy and Donald now, it's not as painstakingly hard to draw them. Their facial features weren't (in my opinion) as hard to draw since their eyes are smaller and they wear head-covering hats, which eliminates the whole 'hair' issue.
They have the same basic body shape as Donald, so I didn't have to worry so much about that.
I hope you like this one! Since I have now finished the 'basic' Disney characters (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, etc...), I am going to attempt the Winnie the Pooh characters! (Ohhhh dearrr....)

Day 6

Hello everyone! Today was Daisy's turn to be drawn. I do believe I like drawing the Mouse family more than the Duck family. Sorry Daisy and Donald!
The only thing I can really say about drawing her was that her eyes are farther apart than Donald's. So good luck to whomever decides to draw her! She's hard, but I think she turned ok... I think Pluto's had the best result so far.
