Day 5

Hey! So today's character was Pluto! He (thankfully) wasn't too bad and I hope he turned out alright since he was drawn in the car ride home from the mountains today. I finished him before I started feeling too motion-sick. Hahaha!
He's my mom's favorite so I hope she enjoys him. So, without further ado, here's Pluto!

Day 4

I apologize that this one is coming on so late! I had a gig last night and was unable to reach a computer. I'm warning you now, but next weekend I have a large event called "D-Now" and (again) will not be able to get on a computer and load my work. Please forgive me! I will put everything on as best as I can!

Day 3

Today was Donald's Day! He was hard to draw (I think I might say this about every single one that I draw! Hahaha!). I think that Minnie and Mickey are definitely the easier ones to draw thus far (probably the whole project too!)
Donald's main difference was his overall body-shape. Minnie and Mickey's were pretty straight-forward (slightly round body, normal legs, dress/overalls, and simple shoes). Donald's shape was more..... pear-ish. He's rounder at the bottom than at the top. He isn't skinny, but his round-ness focuses more at the bottom of his shape. (Repetition, I'm so sorry!)
As you may have realized, I am, in fact, starting out with the Fab. Five (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto). No, not the ones from Kung-Fu Panda... Sorry! I've started setting up a schedule for myself so (hopefully) this blog will have a little bit of order. Who knows? ;D

Day 2

Today I had more trouble with than yesterday. It turns out, Mickey only wears this shorts/overalls combo that's not too hard to handle. Minnie's dress on the other hand was an absolute pain.... When I was looking at the pics of Minnie that I'd found, it didn't look hard, but for some reason, her dress and the way it moves with her as she changes positions with her emotions was actually rather difficult....
Right now I'm a little scared for when I hopefully reach the Princesses....

Hello! My name is Caroline! I am your average American student who just happens to have an abnormally large obsession with Disney (be it the man himself or his creations). Inspired by Julie Powell's idea to create a blog in order to keep a goal and finish it, I have decided that for the next 365 days, I will attempt to draw a Disney character. I'm going to try and do a different one every single day until I run out. Then, I am going to use the characters and create them in an 'environment' other than the one I originally find them in.
